Air Freshener with Vinegar and Essential Oils.

I tried the vanilla and clove air freshener from a previous post and it was ok – the vinegar really helped to dissipate odors, but the vanilla and clove wasn’t strong enough to cover up the vinegar (if that makes sense).  I decided to try a recipe that still used the vinegar but added essential oils for the scenty part.

  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 12-15 drops essential oil

  • Mix all ingredients into a spray bottle and shake well.

We haven’t had a strong odor yet today to really test this on, but it seems ok.  I used eucalyptus lemon essential oil and it is a fresh smell.  I think this is one that we’ll be experimenting on with different scents!
