All Purpose Cleaner / Clorox Wipes #3.

All Purpose Cleaner used to make "Clorox" wipes.

All Purpose Cleaner used to make “Clorox” wipes.

I’ve tried several all-purpose cleaner recipes now, this is the first one I’ve tried with castile soap (nothing wrong with the other recipes but just after something different as usual!).  Found this recipe at www.macheesmo.com.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon washing soda (NOT baking soda)
  • 1/2 teaspoon castile soap
  • 2 cups hot water

Instructions:

  • Mix together well, keeping in mind that the solution will fizz slightly when the vinegar and washing soda combine.

Notes:

  • Easy enough.  I had to make multiple batches (I think I ended up with 14 cups of water to fill my very large wipes container so it was 7x the recipe), you can make as little or as much as you need.  You could also use this in a spray format (although I have not tried that personally yet).
